From my experience of more then 50 years in the field of Wires & Cables, Electrical Products and new Brands has been added for other products, I can very safely say that quality never goes out of fashion. It is one product attribute that is timed tested, and has served "Plaza" well in the past.
Therefore, whatever the future endeavors of Plaza & its Allied Brands, quality will always be a key ingredient in all its products. Towards this end, Plaza has made rapid progress in the past few years. From bringing latest technology to the fore, setting strict quality control norms, to taking regular customer feedback, and more.

In order to maintain our brands a household name, and a brand that would serve its customers every minute of their lives, we have broadened our portfolio. Many new products have been added like "Plaza" Brand Complete range of solar products, CFL & LED fittings and many more are on the anvil.

From the history since 1998
Mr. Mamnun Khan by his own planning and decision, established the dream project YES Cable Industries Ltd. at 23rd October 1998 and finally started its commercial production in 23 January 2005 and established a new era in the cable industry.
In 1994, Mr. Mamnun made his production efficient and effective through importing latest machineries. During the year 1995-96, the factory got the required expansion with imported machineries.
To make it consistent with corporate business and because of new product requirements from the market, machineries with latest technologies were imported from different countries like Japan, Germany, Italy, India, Belgium, French etc. And the factory got its modern shape in compliance with demand in 2000. Side by side, a modern and well equipped testing laboratory was built with latest equipment from United States, Japan, India and many countries of Europe. Highly educated and trained laboratory technicians were employed to operate these equipment.
With continuous improvement and development, YES had its international recognition and placement. YES created a record to be the only Bangladeshi company to rank 33rd among 50 renowned cable companies which were taken from more than three thousand cable companies of two hundred countries across the world. It is a prestigious honor for YES Cable and even for the country.
YES Cable has been celebrating its 39th anniversary on the eve of 46th years of independence of Bangladesh. It means YES Cables fall on its 40 years with the span of time of 46 years independence of the country. This journey of 40 years does not mean our destination but continuing attitude with a milestone. It was with the motive of establishing an independent well-built nation. YES Cable has been contributing to economic freedom of the country through its wide range of activities. Moreover, the produced goods of this company has already been contributing to the real development of the country. The government has been getting revenue of hundreds of crores from this organization. About six thousand people are employed in YES Group meaning approximately thirty thousand family members are being sustained for their basic needs and amenities from this group.

This is the year BRB Cable Industries Ltd got certified for being incorporated

2000
C.C.V (Catenary Continuous Vulcanization) Plant (for curing the XLPE Insulation) has been started production and cables manufactured from this plant is safer for supply of electricity.

In June 2010, after a long R&D on manufacturing Marine Cables BRB has achieved the Germanischer Lloyd (GL) Shipboard Cables Manufacturing Approval Certificate.
